Loom is a Google Chrome extension that allows you to record your computer's screen. As such, you don't actually have to download and install it on your computer, but just on your Google Chrome browser.
Go to Chrome Web Store
Open Google Chrome and go to the Chrome Web Store. (You can also get there with this link.)
Search for Loom
Type "Loom" in the search bar in the top left of the screen.
Add Loom to Chrome
Loom should be the first result. Click "Add to Chrome."
If a popup appears, click "Add extension."
Check in Extensions Bar
After adding the extension, the icon will appear next to the search bar. A popup will appear to notify you it has been added to Chrome.
Sign In or Sign Up
- If you have a Google or Slack account, you can sign in with that account.
- If not, click "Sign Up" to create an account.
