How do I Install the Kaltura CaptureSpace Desktop Recorder?


The Kaltura CaptureSpace Desktop Recorder is a desktop application that will allow you to record presentations, lectures, screencasts, and more. Once you have recorded your media, CaptureSpace will allow you to trim and upload your media directly to Kaltura (video.byui.edu).

1. Click Add New

2. Select Record a Presentation from the drop-down menu.

Windows or Mac?

Choose the software download that is compatible with your computer's operating system.

Once the software is installed, repeating steps 1 & 2 will automatically open the CaptureSpace software. You may need to grant permission to allow the browser to launch the application.
